Rebecca is responsible for advising students in the History program by e-mail, phone, or in-person appointments.  She provides information regarding eligibility, course selections, program planning, prerequisites, substitutions, antirequisites, exam conflicts, and appeals.  She also coordinates the add/drop activities for the department.  Rebecca acts as the liaison and resource person for students, faculty, or other units regarding department policy and Senate regulations.

Rebecca held previous positions in the Faculty of Engineering Science, where she held the role of Academic Counsellor, and in the Faculty of Social Science, having worked as the Undergraduate Program Advisor in Psychology.
