HIS 2121-001: Building Modern Canada

 

This course examines Canada’s dramatic transformation from a rural-agrarian, to an urban-industrial nation.  Lectures focus on the economic, technological and social forces that created modern Canada.  Students will attend two lectures each week and write two mid-term examinations and a final examination based on lectures and required readings.
