MENARG - Middle East and North African Research Group
MENARG functions as a coordinating body for academic departments, professional schools and institutes within the University, promoting scholarly research and writing on all aspects of the Middle East and North African part of the world.
Research initiatives are centered on the global study of MENA countries and peoples, including immigrants to Canada from the region and their ongoing relations to the MENA countries.
Network in Candian History & Environment - NiCHE
NiCHE brings together historians, geographers, and other researchers who study nature and humans in Canada's past.
We offer a forum for the field, support collaboration among scholars, and ensure that this research is shared with policymakers, scientists, and the Canadian public.

The Medical Artifact Collection
Originating with the Faculty of Medicine at Western in the late nineteenth century, our collection contains over 1200 artifacts which represent the practice and teaching of health and medicine in southwestern Ontario. It includes objects related to cardiology, ophthalmology, dentistry, pharmacology, surgery, homeopathy, obstetrics, phlebotomy, veterinary and military medicine, microscopy, anatomy, and alternative medicine from the late eighteenth century until now.
