We have seen other images that demonstrate the arrival at the door of honour in the form of examination success, or raw material wealth. In this image, once again, a family is honoured by a visit from two men who appear as merchants, but as the cloud above their heads indicates, they are actually gods of wealth in disguise - specifically the 'Shop Profiting Fairy', and the 'Wealth Summoning Lad', who we met in the first Stove God image.
